We have just finished an unforgettable five days full of adventure, laughter, new friendships, and wonderful memories! This week's camp was designed for younger children (ages 7-10), who spent their holidays exploring the beauty of our region, discovering local culture, enjoying sports, and, most importantly, making the most of their summer break. We are especially happy that our fantastic group included children from both the Czech Republic and Ukraine. Together, we created a wonderful team and proved that true friendship knows no borders.
So, what did we experience during those five unforgettable days?
We explored the fascinating world of butterflies as part of a nationwide butterfly-watching event.
We enjoyed a scenic train ride through the Hradec Králové City Forests.
On Tuesday, we stepped into a fairy tale with a visit to the famous Gingerbread Cottage beneath Kunětická Hora.
At Častolovice Castle, we took part in a wonderful cultural programme and explored the beautiful castle grounds.
Thursday belonged to the Gladiators. It was wild, adventurous, active, and full of exciting challenges!
Friday's Grand Finale: We wrapped up the camp at Biřička Pond, where the children completed an adventurous trail filled with exciting tasks and challenges at different stations.Every child did an amazing job and rose to every challenge!
A huge thank you goes to all the children for their endless energy, courage, and constant smiles. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our entire team of camp leaders for their excellent organisation and for the passion and care they put into making this camp such a memorable experience.
