Once again and joyfully we accepted cooperation on the free-time charity activity "Let's Run Against Violence" - an afternoon for the Children's Crisis Center NOMIA, where we involved foreigners in running routes and thus supported our health and a good cause.
Counseling and Children's Crisis Center NOMIA Hradec Králové, in cooperation with the Department of Social Studies of the University of Hradec Králové, prepared the 8th annual charity event Let's Run Against Violence! The event took place on May 3, 2023. The support route started at 17:00 and the race itself - at 17:30. On this occasion, you could play sports and support a good cause at the same time.
The run traditionally took place in the UHK campus (building A, Hradecká 1227/4) and its immediate surroundings. Main running routes 5 km and 10 km long awaited you, and this year we prepared a support route for you, which was 2.5 km long. The support route was an accompanying route, intended especially for non-athletes, mothers with children and everyone who wanted to support the event and enjoy a nice afternoon.
The proceeds of this event would go to help victims of violence and would be donated to the Counseling Center for Victims of Violence and the Children's Crisis Center NOMIA to purchase diagnostic tools for the work of psychologists with abused and neglected children and other victims of violent crime.
